Celtic make last 16 of the Champions League

Celtic have made the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. Celtic defeated Spartak Moscow by the score 2-1. Meanwhile, in Catalonia Barca drew 1-1 with Benfica. This meant that Celtic were second in the group. The draw is scheduled for December, 20th. Follow the draw live in our chat room.

Snoop Dogg to buy into Celtic?

Rap legend Snoop Dogg is looking into buying a significant share into Celtic. Like many of you we at Dead Raibead were stunned by the news but having  him associated with the club can have quite a few benefits. Snoop Dogg has stated that he would like to buy enough shares to have a say in Celtic but not officially own the club.  He has talked with former England internationalist David Beckham and Beckham recommended Snoop buy into Celtic.

Celtic manager Neil Lennon had this to say today about Snoop Lion, "It would be interesting if he did put money in. As long as I got invited to one of his parties, it would be OK."

Ironically, Snoop Dogg changed his name to Snoop Lion a few months back. The day before we play in Lisbon a lion might buy us.

I'll leave you with this quote from Snoop lion, “The boxes at Celtic would never be the same once I have hosted a party there.”

Real Oviedo of Spain is in trouble. This once proud top division team is now on the brink of destruction. They have started a stock issue at the price of €11.50 ($14.65 US dollars 11/16 at 9:49 AM).
