Celtic are preparing to face their arch rival's tomorrow, Rangers. It will be a very important match as it could put Celtic back into first place with a lead of 2 points. This is after Rangers had a double digit point lead of Celtic only a short time ago.
Celtic were given bright news by Neil Lennon who said 2010 Player of the Year, Emilo Izaguirre, is set to return for tomorrow's match. However, James Forrest is a doubt.
Kayal Nears New Contract

Neil Lennon has revealed that contract talks with Beram Kayal are progressing and he is hopeful that the player will commit his future to the club soon.
Kayal has established himself as a first pick in Lennon’s midfield since making the move from Maccabi Haifa in summer 2010. A series of eye-catching performances have seen the player attract the attentions of other clubs and Celtic have been keen to tie the player down.
Lennon said that he was not directly involved in discussions with Kayal and his representatives but was optimistic about the conclusion.
“Beram had talks with the board again last week and I’m hoping they come to a final resolution pretty soon,” he explained.
“I don’t think they are that far away.
“It’s not a major concern that I’m not involved in the talks because I’m kept up to date with everything.”
The manager added that the midfielder’s popularity with the support could be a factor in him extending his current deal.
“Beram knows what we think of him and the fans have taken to him very well,“ Lennon said.
“I also think he enjoys playing his football here.”
Kris Commons Sticks His Foot, but Not Cake, in His Mouth

So far in the Tim-ernet, Twitter has probably been more positive than negative to Celtic since it's inception. We've had Marc Crosas tweeting support for Celtic no matter where he is in the world, as well as retweeting a Rangers supporter who calls his a poor bench warmer and then the same supporter trying to sell his used Xbox for a bit of cash. We've had "The Big Yank", as he seems to be solely referred to, Dom Cervi tweeting his dinner, his love for the Oklahoma Sooners College Football team, and the occasional Bible verse. Even Joe Ledley and Niall McGinn got in on the act, retweeting any punter who seemed to ask at times. Twitter was great, especially during the turbulence of last season, in bringing Celtic players closer to the fans and making us feel like we actually knew them. I would argue that, while not as important as the tribulations that Neil Lennon faced last season, was a integral factor in developing the closeness the Celtic support felt towards last year's squad. Everyone was one big happy Thwitter Fhamily.

From the Official Celtic Website:
"THE Celtic squad will travel almost 200 miles to take on Ross County at Victoria Park tomorrow evening, (Wednesday). The third round of the Scottish Communities League Cup will provide the Hoops with the opportunity to return to winning ways, and Neil Lennon expects a big response from his players.
“We have to bounce back as quickly as we can and bounce back in a positive manner,” the manager said. "I'd like to think their attitude will be spot on after the weekend.
"We need to re-energise ourselves and get the fans going again. If we play the way we can then we’ll do that. There’s always a bit of a fall-out after a Celtic v Rangers game. If you lose it you’re going to get criticised and analysed. That’s just the nature of the game.
